Cael Crockett is Pontiac's October Student of the Month

We are honored to have Cael Crockett as our Pontiac October Student of the Month. The teachers spoke very highly about Cael. He is strong academically as well creative, hard working, and self-motivating.

Cael’s parents are Dennis and Lori Crockett. Cael has two siblings. His older sister, Jackie, is 26, and his older brother, Colten, is 17.  Cael has been a Fairview Heights resident his entire life and he will be attending Belleville East High School next school year.

Cael is a fantastic student at Pontiac. He has received all A’s while attending Pontiac.  Cael’s favorite subject is math because it provides a good challenge.  Cael has participated in student council, science olympiad, chess team, and National Junior Honor Society. Outside of school, Cael helps out with his dad’s gutter business, enjoys riding his bike, hanging out with friends and family, drawing, playing his guitar, and playing video games.

Cael feels education is important because it opens doors for future opportunities. Cael plays piano and guitar so he would like to pursue some time of career in the music industry.  Cael said, “I just can’t get enough of music.” Cael is going to do great things in the future because he has the drive and work ethic it takes to be successful.

Congratulations, Cael!
