In lieu of the annual St. Clair County Young Authors' Conference, our office contacted international best selling author Todd Parr. In an effort to continue to support this event, Todd has pre-recorded a 40 minute video championing reading, creative writing and kindness to all no matter your age, background, race, culture, etc. If you are not familiar with any of Todd's books, while they may seem very primary, their messages are powerful, inspiring and unforgettable. While the video supports reading and writing (along with a BIG surprise), it is not specifically geared just towards the Young Authors' Conference, it is also about his journey as a student, person, author and the messages in and behind his books for EVERYONE of ALL AGES...not just children.
We can't speak highly enough of Todd's messages for all of us, especially now. We promise you and your students, staff, school community will not regret watching this brief snippet from Todd! ENJOY!
