adaptive pause 1/10/21

From Dr. Julie Brown

1/9/21

Parents,

Well, as I mentioned yesterday, things can change at any given time, and unfortunately we have gotten several additional calls from staff members today who are exhibiting symptoms and can not attend tomorrow and will be getting tested.  Unfortunately, we are not able to secure enough substitutes to keep our learning environment and other areas staffed.

Additionally, we have gotten emails from parents indicating they have students at home who are not feeling well.

We are hopeful that by using remote learning days this week, along with the anticipated new guidelines for quarantine and isolation decreasing the amount of days people would be required to be out, that we will be able to resume full in-person learning on Tuesday, January 18.

Tomorrow, Monday, January 10, we will follow our e-learning schedule of 8:30-1:30.  Lessons will be available online tomorrow after 8:30  and will not include live instruction.  Each day, student attendance should be completed in TeacherEase by you or your child no later than noon.  Teachers will be prepping for the rest of the week to include more live instruction.  Tomorrow by 3:00 p.m. you will receive additional information from teachers or building principals regarding instruction for the remainder of the week.

There will be no lunches or breakfast served on Monday and we will send information tomorrow for the rest of the week.  ESP will be closed until Tuesday, January 18 as well.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we maintain the safest environment we can.
