Good luck to our Cross Country State Qualifiers as they run tomorrow!

Dear PWH Students, Families, Staff, and Community,
I am writing today to share some exciting news. As you read in the newspaper, or saw on the news, Burlington Stores announced as part of the grand opening of their store at the new location in Fairview Heights they will present us with a $5,000 AdoptAClassroom.org donation for our teachers. Teachers will be able to order classroom supplies and resources they need for their students. The grand opening festivities will take place on Friday, October 18th at 6611 N. Illinois Street and begin at 8:45. The event will include the presentation of an oversized check to the District and our William Holliday Student Leadership Team. If you are available, please join us for the celebration.
On behalf of the District, I would like to thank Burlington Stores for their generous donation. We are overwhelmed by the generous $5,000 donation to help further our students’ education. Thank you to very much for your support of our classrooms and students.
It is a privilege to lead a district and community that is committed to working together to provide a quality education and partner to help our students on their journey for continued growth and improvement. This is another example of our community support in the educational experience. We are grateful to have the opportunities for community partnerships and blessed with this donation as we work together to ensure continuous development, growth, and achievement for all. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our students, staff, and school community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Brian Arteberry
Superintendent of Schools
